Second Hand Books...
It started as praise of charity shops but ended up as an attack on Andrew Collins. Not intended, I really like his books, it was supposed to beat on the Club 18/30 goer who only got 63 pages in. I hope you enjoy it.

Wilson
Wilson is the new graphic novel by one of my favorite cartoonist, Daniel Clowes, who most famously wrote and illustrated Ghost World. I found this cutting from it in The Observer a few weeks back. I can't wait to get my copy of the whole thing.

Jeffrey Lewis - Don't Be Upset
Last month I went to an installation in The Barbican in London, in the queue I spoke to my friend about how much I love Jeffrey Lewis, we went in to the installation, when we came out Jeffrey Lewis was stood in the line waiting to go in. One of the weirdest coincidences that has ever happened to me. I just wish I had been talking about Audrey Tautou or Joy Division (Somehow).

This is one of my favorite songs. I think it is a shame that Jona Lewie is best known for Stop The Cavalry. I have finally managed to come to terms with the fact that I will never hear it played in a club or at a party.

I dreamt that I brushed my teeth so hard that they ran with blood and fell loose (The first thing I did when I woke was check they were still there). My flatmate drank my beers in front of me. There was a girl using my shower, hiding only her face from me. Then Stewart Lee won an award and wasn't very modest about it. When I woke up about 15 mins ago this song was in my head.

My Funny Valentines Day
A few days ago I was asked who my favorite male vocalist was, I couldn't answer. After some thought on a nice quiet Sunday I think I've made a decission. This will probably change again in the next few hours but for the moment it's Chet Baker. This is his version of an appropriate jazz standard.
